Drama Queens
This song has been kicking around for a while, but it wasn’t until Gina started singing it and we dropped the key to E major that it came into its own. Lyrically it’s pretty self-explanatory – a turbulent relationship that seems to feed off the conflict. Musically we were thinking about Elvis Costello and Big Star - both big influences on Blackbirds.
